Dha phase Islamabad is a four-day long festival which falls on the seventh lunar day of the Hindu month Phalgun and celebrates the return of the sun. It is a time for reuniting with family and friends, and indulging in cultural activities. The festival is also marked by religious observances such as prayer meetings and fasting.

Dha phase 4

In the fourth Dha phase, we are seeing a decrease in stress levels and an increase in energy. The kidneys are now filtering more effectively and the blood is becoming less acidic. This means that our bodies are able to better absorb nutrients and eliminate waste.

Dha phase 4 Islamabad blocks

Dha phase 4 Islamabad blocks
On Saturday the main artery connecting Islamabad with Rawalpindi, the Grand Trunk Road (GT Road), was blocked by protesters from Dha Phase 4. The protesters, who are demanding permanent rights to land and an end to what they call "eviction-like" tactics by the government, have been camped out in the area for more than two months. On Saturday morning, a group of policemen attempted to disperse them using tear gas and water cannons but this only provoked the protesters into action. Hundreds of supporters from Dha Phase 4 then marched towards GT Road, successfully blocking it completely. In a video posted on Twitter, protesters can be seen surrounding a truck full of water cannons and hurling stones at it. “This is not just about land or our rights; this is also about democracy and freedom,” said Asma Jahangir, one of the protest organisers. The provincial government has so far refused to negotiate with the protestors despite many calls for peace from both civil society and the federal government. On Sunday afternoon Prime Minister Imran Khan issued a statement calling on all those involved in protests to abandon peaceful means and return to their homes. While this may be good news for some – such as those living in Dha Phase 4 – it seems unlikely that this will be enough to appease protesters who are now firmly entrenched in GT Road.
