Throughout college, one of my favorite escapes between and after class was the NBA 2K franchise and, specifically career mode NBA 2K23 MT. I poured hours into each iteration of the game for a number of years, whether it was as a guard for the Heat or Lakers or some other team in the league.

As the years go through, my involvement in 2K has greatly diminished, partly because I've enjoyed playing different games, but generally due to the monotonous character of the 2K franchise. It's been almost an entire dozen years since the first played the NBA 2K game.

Re-visiting the latest 2K23 edition, then brought pleasant surprises and some frustrating results as well. The game has seen some adjustments to improve the gameplayas in MyTEAMas well as some aspects which seem to miss the point.Coming in to the current edition of 2K23 was a pleasant experience, with nice surprises, and some disconcerting discoveries too. There were some changes made to improve the gameplayjust like MyTEAMbut there were also some aspects that don't seem to get the idea.

One of the first things I tried when I had the game running was to instantly switch to career mode to begin building my own player. Aspects of that process have changed and for the better in that they limit the possibility of skill points, and the comparison of the type players you've created. As as opposed to the previous time I played, it is now possible to select the team you go to.To make Anthony Davis to play center I designed an agile power forward that could throw everything down, grab boards and defend the rim and joined the Lakers.

Your first game is one of the championships in the Las Vegas Summer League and how well you perform there will help determine your initial role during everyday season.Kendrick Nunn participated at the Summer League alongside me, this isn't true since Nunn has never played for the Lakers and for no other reason Buy MT 2K23. I took the win and earned a spot as a player in the team's rotation going forward.
