The islands will reportedly feature several mechanical elements, serving as a teaser towards the highly technologically advanced region of Fontaine set in the future in the following update. Visits would also confirm previous rumors that Eula will have a major role in the story from the event.

Eula's appearance in Version 3.8's event is set in the future alongside a long-awaited return for that character throughout the update too. Eula is heavily rumored to become receiving a re-run banner throughout the update, her first appearance around the limited gacha banner in over 500 days.
