To attempt a hone Lost Ark Gold, you'll need to invest Harmony Shards. Investing the maximum amount will allow you to attempt a hone. The first few tiers will always succeed. However, once you exceed a certain number of upgrades, your upgrade chance will no longer be guaranteed.
